Hoping to create a solid foundation for your little one to be a successful reader? Preschool lessons will be taught with Sonday System and Heggerty materials and methods. Through our time together, we’ll “play” with letters, sounds and words to build phonological and phonemic awareness and an incredible foundation for kindergarten.

Individual reading sessions are conducted using the Sonday System program and materials, and following Orton Gillingham methodology. Sonday System is a structured, systematic, and multisensory reading program. We will focus on the “science of reading” and lessons will include phonemic work, reading comprehension and writing skills for all levels.

We’ll also incorporate academic coaching — focusing on “how to do school.” We’ll work through organizing your work load and supplies, communicating with teachers and planning ahead.
